- If someone apologizes to you, accept their apology gracefully and without suspicion. Don't be tempted to backtrack to the point at issue, or to try to make them understand how hurt or angry you were. If you value the relationship, concentrate on making it work again. Appreciate the sunshine after the rain - and put down that umbrella!
- Most of the time we leave our bodies to meet the sounds of the world. Instead, relax into the breath and let the sounds be inside you, inside the space between your ears. Try allowing the sounds of the world to come to you.
- You can look at the breath with trust. Trusting the breath permits you the freedom to accept the experience of meditation without the need to constantly monitor whether everything is ok.
