- Meditation for remembering the good in you: Sit and close your eyes. Let go of analysis and expectation. Bring to mind something you have done or said that you feel was a kind or good action. When it comes to mind, be with the happiness that may come with the memory. If a kind or good action does not come to mind, then focus on a quality you like about yourself. Otherwise, reflect on your urge to have happiness. Be with what is happening, but do not get involved with desire or aversion. Let go and begin again, just being with the meditation.
- Make your home look as welcoming as possible. Keep paintwork fresh, and use pot plants, small shrubs, or climbing plants on trellises if you have space. Friends will delight in visiting, and returning home will be a perennial joy.
