Life Needs a Menu is a flowing, mixed-up list of descriptions of food and cooking from food magazines, travel magazines, books on food writing, restaurant reviews. Talk about a zero-calorie treat! For over 40 years, I have kept a running list of things to be happy about. In that list, now with more than 100,000 entries, there is much written about food. Those have been culled into Life Needs a Menu. So many times I have looked at random lists from this database for ideas for what to cook, what to eat, and what to serve with what. But, mainly, it has been a no-calorie treat. Who doesn't love food? It's a big part of pleasure and happiness.
